Edah Program Coordinator - Full Time, Berkeley
The Edah Program Coordinator works in partnership with the Executive Director to support the Edah afterschool program in a variety of ways, including administratively, in a planning capacity, and as a lead educator in the afternoons and during camps. Starts July, 2017.
Jewish Learning Innovation Fellow - Full Time, Berkeley
The Jewish Learning Innovation Corps (JLIC) is a paid fellowship training the next generation of Jewish educators. The fellowship spans 1-2 years and aims to lead young educators through a process of revealing their talents, experiencing different methods in education and building their own “Torah” -- values and practices they will use as an educator. Fellows learn the latest methods and tools from an internationally renowned faculty.
Madrich/a - Part Time, Berkeley
Madrichim/madrichot are creative, energetic, experienced, and knowledgeable aspiring educators with a high level of Hebrew language fluency and knowledge of Jewish tradition, ritual, and texts. Madrichim/madrichot serve as teachers aids in Edah, a Hebrew-immersive afterschool program, helping to facilitate Jewish learning for children in grades K-5. This is a part-time position of 4-15 hours/week from September-June.
